Heyhey Everyone!
MVSA will be performing at Pangaea and hosting our pavilion this Sunday~!! 
McMaster Pangaea Multicultural Event is one of the biggest event at the McMaster University for the past 9 years. The purpose of Pangaea is to spread the awareness of the diversity and multiculturalism to our student body as well as the surrounding community. Over 20 cultural groups host booths with food and music, showcasing their traditions. The cultural groups also put together a wonderful performance of dance, drama or music for everyone to enjoy.
Date: Sunday March 4, 2012
Time: 10:30am – 6:30pm
Location: The Pavillions in the Student Centre (MUSC)
Day Performance – 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Evening Performance – 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Day and evening performance tickets are available at compass for only $10!! Both tickets gain you access to the pavilions.
Tickets are also available the day of the event too for $12!!
Come out and enjoy various cultures, dances, performances and food!

Hello everyone!
We’re hosting a skating and bubble tea night (YAY!). We’ll be going downtown to the skating rink together, and after skating we’ll be going to a new bubble tea house which is also downtown. It’ll be a really chill fun night. If you don’t have any experience skating, no problem!! There are a many MVSA execs who can skate and will be more than willing to help you out, free of charge! — because we like you guys so much

No skates?: They do skate and helmet rentals there so no worries!

Hello Hello
Welcome back everybody~! Hope you guys all had a wonderful winter break! We’re gonna kick off this year with our social event!
We’ll be busing downtown to the restaurant Pho NV together for dinner and afterwards we’ll be heading to the Boulevard Billiards!

Who loves games? We do!! Who loves pho? Uhh… who doesn’t?? We’ll be hosting a game + pho night this week, with our version of capture the flag! More like capture the golf balls..
Come out on Wednesday night and hang out with the exec team! We’ll be playing outside if weather permits. If it begins to rain, don’t worry!! Plan B will be to play manhunt around the gym (a variation of tag)..either way, it’ll be super fun!
After the games, we’ll all be heading downtown for dinner at Pho NV (Canon & Macnab)

Games start at 5:45pm
Heading to Pho NV for dinner at ~7:15pm
Meet: DBAC lobby (David Braley Athetic Centre)
What: Capture the golf ball / Manhunt, depending on the weather + PHO!

We are super excited to announce our next event… our annual CHEAP DINNER!!!

Why: to meet people, get full off of delicious Viet food, and obviously to have fun
Menu (sneak peak): spring rolls, fried rice, vermicelli, mango pudding, PHO and more!!! Drinks include tea, water and pop!
MVSA execs will be waiting at the student center atrium from 6:30pm to walk people to the house. They’ll be leaving at 6:45pm so if you are afraid of getting lost or just want some company on the short trip, make sure you get there between those times!
It’s going to be an awesome time with great people, great food, and there will be games too!! Grab your friends and take a break from all of the midterm stress and come hang out with your MVSA for an evening Alcoholic drinks are optional, but will be BYOB. After dinner we’ll be kicking back and hanging out so feel free to come by anytime between 6:30 and 11:00pm! $5 for a full belly.. what more can you ask for

Hi Everyone!!
Our next event will be bowling at University Lanes (in University Plaza). Details are:
- Two games of bowling, plus pizza
- THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6th – Meeting in MUSC, in front of the atrium fireplace @ 6:45pm
- Cost: $8 for members, $10 for non-members
We’ll be meeting up first, then heading somewhere else to have pizza – provided by MVSA
At ~ 7:30pm, we’ll be busing to University Plaza together. It’s going to be a really laid-back fun evening, so come out and bring your friends before school gets crazy! Everyone is welcome, and we’d be delighted to see all of your lovely faces there! Maybe learn a few bowling tricks.. maybe get our butts whooped… the possibilities are endless!

Hey everyone!!
Thanks to all of you who came out to Clubsfest last week! Before the school term gets too crazy, we will be hosting our annual meet-and-greet or “Orientation Night!” Details below
ORIENTATION NIGHT
What: Orientation Night/General Meeting
Where: Field in front of JHE **
When: Thursday Sept. 15 @ 6:00 pm
Why?: To meet the MVSA exec and general members, play games, win prizes, and most importantly..to have fun!
** If you don’t know the way to JHE, an MVSA exec will be picking people up in front of COMPASS @ 5:45 pm
There will be lots of GAMES and awesome PRIZES! If you are new to MVSA, definitely come out and find out what we’re all about!
We will be giving details about how you can apply to become an MVSA rep this year.
The main event for this Orientation Night will be a scavenger/photo hunt we’ve planned that you don’t want to miss out on! We’ll be running all around campus, so if you don’t know your way around Mac too well yet, it’ll be a great way to get familiar with it, and to meet new people! And the prize for this game is pretty awesome too
After Orientation, we will be busing downtown to the restaurant Pho NV together for dinner/drinks. Everyone is welcome to join, so invite your friends too! It’s going to be a really chill night out
